Using My Work Items

Overview

When there are many work items displayed in the "Work Item Tree", it becomes more difficult to search for the target item when entering actual times.
For items that are used frequently, the effort of searching every time can be a burden.

By registering an item as a shortcut in "My Work Items", you can quickly enter actual times.

Register a work item

To register an item to "My Work Items", simply drag and drop the target item from "Work Item Tree" to "My Work Items".

Enter actual times

You can enter actual times from "My Work Items" in the same way as for items in the "Work Item Tree".
Please refer to the following link for input method. : "Enter actual times" When you double-click a work item registered in "My Work Items", the corresponding item will be selected in the "Work Item Tree".

Edit a work item

You can make the items in "My Work Items" easier to use by changing their names or grouping them.

• Change the order of items
  

  • Simply drag the item in "My Work Items" to change the order of the items.
    
  • Changing the order of items for better usability makes it even easier to enter effort hours.
    

• Change the name
  

  • You can change the name by "right-clicking" → "Change name".
    
  • The changed name will only be displayed in "My Work Items".
    The original name of the item will not be changed.
  • If you enter an achievement, the changed name will be saved as an achievement note.
    

• Delete
  

  • Select "Delete" from the pop-up menu.
    
  • Even if you delete it from "My Work Items", the item will not be deleted from the "Work Item Tree".
    

Group items

You can group and organize the items displayed in "My Work Items".
Create a group from "Add Group" in the pop-up menu and drag the target items.

• The above operations can be performed on groups in the same way as on items.
  
• If you delete a group, all the items in that group will be deleted.
