Export actual times

Overview

Actual time data entered in TimeTracker NX can be output to an external file in Excel or CSV format.

  • Time data can be aggregated as desired in Excel or used for linking with external applications.
  • By using Excel's pivot analysis function, exported actual data can also be analyzed by specifying a period for each item.

Exporting actual times

You can output actual times in CSV or Excel format.

Operation procedure

  1. Click the icon to the right of the login name displayed in the global navigation.


  2. Select "Export Actual Time".

  3. Select the file format.


  4. Select the unit to be aggregated.


  5. Specify the period for which data is to be output.


  6. Select the output columns.


  7. Select a filter. Use the filter to narrow down the users to be aggregated.
    For projects or organizations, you can specify users by that unit.


  8. Select the target users, projects, etc.


  9. Click the "Done" button.

  10. Click the "Download" button in the "Export" dialog.

*1 Only project categories with "Allow grouping" checked in the project category settings will be output.
*2 If the logged-in user does not have the "View costs" permission, 0 will be output.
*3 The folder with the closest hierarchy to the target work item will be targeted.

Output column: Hierarchy information

If you select "Output hierarchy information" in the output column selection dialog, you can also output the parent item name.
You can display the output results in your preferred view by inputting them into Excel's pivot analysis function, etc.

If you want to output, check the checkbox and select the hierarchy to output.

Notes

If there are no items in the specified hierarchy, this will be left blank.
For example, if you specify up to 15 levels and the 5th level is a terminal item, the following will be output.

  • 1st to 4th levels: Parent item name
  • 5th to 15th levels: Blank
