Overview of Item Reports

The Item Report is a function that allows you to easily analyze progress and man-hour status for any range of a project.
The Item Report displays man-hour trends for a specified range in a graph, allowing you to visually confirm the following:

  • Check the man-hour ratio for each activity in a specific process to confirm whether quality is being ensured.
  • Check the progress of the target process by displaying the completion status of work items.
Standard Edition does not support this function.

The following describes how to use the Item Report.

What You Can Do with Item Reports

Similar to the dashboard, the Item Report allows you to achieve the following by utilizing various widgets:

  • View the number of work items completed and the quality activity status for each process side by side.
  • Arrange the content you want to analyze in an easy-to-read format.

Displaying Item Reports

Item reports can be accessed by switching the display from the project screen.
Initially, it is blank, so the procedure for using item reports for the first time is described below.

  1. Click the "Item Report" icon in the local navigation on the project screen.
  2. Click the "Add Widget" icon in the local navigation.
  3. Select the widget to add in the "Widget Selection" dialog.
  4. Click the "OK" button.
  5. Select the package to display from the folder tree on the left.

This completes the display of the item report.

By changing the package selected in the folder tree, all the data aggregated by the widget will change, allowing you to switch the range you want to see and check the situation.

Below are the items you can check:

User and Item Effort

The Effort Summary widget allows you to monitor the effort of users and work items.

It displays the effort (planned, actual) aggregated for a specified period in a graph.

You can easily compare effort for each user and work item, and for each project.

The Time Expense Trend Widget allows you to monitor the time expenses of users and work items.
It displays the aggregated time expenses in a time-series graph.

You can easily check the time expenses of users and work items.

Item Progress

The Work Item Summary Widget allows you to monitor the progress of work items.
You can display the number of work items by status and leader in a graph.
Example: Display the number of work items by specifying the status.

You can check the ratio of unstarted work items to completed work items,
making it easy to understand the progress of work items.

The Work Item Progression Widget allows you to monitor the progress of work items.
You can display the number of work items by status and leader in a time-series graph.
Example: Display the number of work items by status in a time-series graph.

You can see the number of completed work items increasing over time,
and easily see if the project is progressing smoothly.

Project Progress Transition

The Project Progress Transition Widget allows you to check the changes (transitions) in management indicator values ​​for the target project.

You can understand the situation over time regarding progress against the schedule and productivity against planned man-hours.

Using the Item Report for the First Time

To use the Item Report, you first need to create a page.
Pages must be created for each project.


Widgets will be added to the created pages.

Instructions

  1. Open the target project.
  2. Click the "Item Report" icon in the local navigation of the project screen.
  3. Click the "New Page" icon in the local navigation.
  4. Click the "Add Widget" icon in the local navigation.
  5. Select the widget to add in the "Widget Selection" dialog.
  6. Click the "OK" button.

How to Use Item Reports

Widgets displayed in Item Reports are managed on a page-by-page basis.
By creating multiple pages, widgets can be managed by theme.
The operation method for Item Report pages and widgets is basically the same as the dashboard.
