Search for Work Items
Overview
You might sometimes find yourself unable to find an item within your project.
- There are many work items, making the search time-consuming.
- You remember keywords, but can't recall the specific item name.
- Items below the package level can only be found by manually opening them.
As projects grow larger, searching becomes even more difficult, and some people may have given up.
This feature introduces a method to 'quickly' identify the intended item from the work items within your project.
This frees you from the hassle of searching for each item individually.
Keyword Search
By entering keywords contained in the item information, a list of matching items will be displayed.
- You can quickly find the item you're looking for by jumping to the relevant item from the list.
- You can narrow down your search even in large projects by specifying the search range.
- Targets work items within the folder selected in the folder tree.
- With some ingenuity, you can quickly search even in large projects.
Search Criteria
This searches for work items where the "entered keyword" and the "string listed in the target field" partially match.
-
Targets single-line text fields and multi-line text fields.
Targets both system fields and custom fields. Example: Name, Description, Deliverable Information, etc. -
If multiple keywords are specified, the search will be performed using the AND condition of the specified keywords.
Separate keywords with a half-width space. -
The selected folder in the folder tree will be included in the search results.
