Installation and upgrade
Introduction
This article introduces how to install and upgrade versions up to TimeTracker Analytics V1.0.1.
This product is installed on the client PC (the PC that accesses TimeTracker NX via a browser).

Installation
Advance confirmation
Before installing, please make sure that the following are not a problem.
- The PC on which you are installing must meet the specifications listed in the following link.
- "Operating environment - client PC" (https://www.timetracker.jp/requirements/)"
- The PC must be able to connect to the Internet when activating the license.
- For optional products, activate the license on a dedicated site.
- Access the following URL from the PC (client PC) that uses the optional product.
https://api.cryptlex.com:443/v3/licenses
If the message "{"message":"Authentication failed!..." is displayed, the connection is successful.
Please check the proxy settings and the network settings of each company.

Installation
Obtain the installer and run it.
You can install it by following the instructions.

If "Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime" is not installed on the destination PC,
The following installer will start, so please follow the instructions.

When you run the exe file, the optional product will start.
The license will be registered at the first startup, so please register it using the following procedure.
License registration
Enter the following information on the "License registration" screen of the tool and click the "Register" button.

- ① Product key
- Check with your system administrator.
- ② Email address
- Enter the email address of the user who will be using the software.
- Please enter accurate information as this will be counted towards the number of licenses for optional products.
- ③ Network settings
For those who need to configure internal network settings such as proxies.
The following dialog will be displayed, so enter the settings.

There is no need to write "https://". Please enter according to the legend.

After registering the license, start the tool immediately.
Version upgrade
TimeTracker Analytics 1.1 and later versions can be installed from the "TimeTracker Desktop" installer.
If you are using TimeTracker Analytics 1.0, please uninstall it first and then install "TimeTracker Desktop".
Settings such as pivot views will not be lost even if you uninstall TimeTracker Analytics 1.0.
"TimeTracker Desktop" is intended for TimeTracker NX version 7 and later.
If you are using version 6, please upgrade your TimeTracker NX.
Please upgrade using the following method.
- Uninstall TimeTracker Analytics 1.0.
Procedure: "Uninstall" - Install the latest version of TimeTracker Desktop.
- Please obtain the installer from the TimeTrakcer administrator of each company.
- Please refer to the linked page for installation and subsequent operations.

System administrator settings
From TimeTracker Analytics V1.1, you can set whether or not TimeTracker Analytics can be used by system roles.
- All use is disabled the first time.
- For users you want to use it, please allow use by system roles.

Uninstall
Please uninstall TimeTracker Analytics using the following method.
- Release the current license using the linked method.
"License release" - Select "TimeTrakcer Analytics" from the list of Windows applications and uninstall it.
If you forget to cancel it, please contact TimeTracker support.
