Register license key
Overview
You can use TimeTracker NX by registering the license key on the Admin screen.
You also need to register the license key on Admin when adding a license or updating the version.
The license key contains information such as the edition and number of licenses.
Register license key
To update the license key, log in as the administrator user of TimeTracker NX.

Click your login name in the global navigation of TimeTracker NX and select "System Settings".

Click "System Operation" in the global navigation and select "License".
If a license key has already been set, the registered license information will be displayed. -
Enter the license key information to be reflected in the "License Key" field.
- Line breaks are not included in the license key.
- Line breaks may be included during the license key issuance process,
so delete the line breaks before entering.If the license information is not updated, reload the screen.
- Click the "Register License" button.
Notes on license management
Relationship between number of contracted licenses and number of users
The items displayed in this screen indicate the following.
- Valid: Number of available users (number of licenses you have contracted)
- Remaining: Number of users using the system
If you register more users than the number of valid licenses, the following will happen.
- For those with system administrator privileges: Only the Admin screen is displayed.
- For those without system administrator privileges: An error message appears indicating that the number of licenses has been exceeded, and you cannot log in.
In that case, please reduce the number of users using the following procedure, and consider adding licenses if necessary.

Update maintenance period
There are two periods introduced on this screen.
- License period
- This is the period during which you can use TimeTracker NX itself.
Example) For an annual license, it is the same as the contract period.
- This is the period during which you can use TimeTracker NX itself.
- Maintenance period
- This is the period during which you can use optional TimeTracker products.

Please note that if the maintenance period has expired, you will not be able to use optional products.
- You can use the TimeTracker NX main unit if the license period has not expired.
- You can renew the period by replacing your annual license/maintenance contract with the license key we will send you at the time of renewal.
