About the Evaluation Version

How do I use the evaluation version?

During the installation process, you will create a database (data storage location) for TimeTracker RX.
We recommend creating it with sample data, following the on-screen instructions.

  • Your account and project data will be pre-registered, so
    You can immediately try out each function.
  • For installation instructions, please refer to the "Setup Guide".

Note that for actual use, we recommend deleting the database containing the sample data and creating a new, empty database.
(This is to avoid leaving unnecessary data.)

Can I transfer the data created with the evaluation version directly to the product version?

Yes. The evaluation version and the product version of TimeTracker RX have the same program content.
By updating the license information provided after product purchase, you can use the software in your actual operating environment with your data intact.

Are there any limitations to the evaluation version program?

There are no functional limitations.
All functions are available for 90 days from the application date.

Can I upgrade my current evaluation version?

Evaluation versions cannot be upgraded.
Please follow the instructions below:

  • Please apply for an evaluation version again using the "Trial/Evaluation Version Application Form".
    We will send you the installer and evaluation license key.
  • Uninstall your current evaluation version and install the new one.
License keys vary by version.

Databases used before evaluating the old version cannot be used with the new version.
Please use the newly obtained key.

I haven't received download information or license key for the evaluation version

If you haven't received instructions on how to download the installer or your license key, please check the following:

  • Is the email address you provided correct?
  • Download information and license keys will be sent to your user support representative.
    Have you received an email with the following subject line?
    Subject: [TimeTracker Support] To ensure smooth use of the evaluation version
  • Has the evaluation version notification been filtered into your spam folder?
  • It takes approximately 3-5 business days to contact you after you apply for the evaluation version.
    Has it been more than 5 business days since you applied?
    Please refer to the News section on the product homepage for our holiday schedule, including year-end and New Year's holidays.
