  • Depending on the scale of TimeTracker RX licenses, the above 1-3 can be combined into a single server PC.

600Lic is a guideline, so it is common to operate on a single server PC.

For details, please refer to "Setup Guide: Server PC Configuration".

  • It can also operate in a cloud environment instead of a server PC.
Many users operate on AWS (Amazon Web Services) or Microsoft Azure.

For detailed information and supported versions, please refer to "Operating Environment".

About Redis

TimeTracker RX requires the "Redis" application.

Redis comes in two versions: one for Windows Server OS and one for Linux. Running the TimeTracker RX installer installs the Windows Server OS version of Redis. If you use it as is, it can be operated on a single server PC.

However, support for the Windows Server OS version of Redis (version '3.0.504') has ended from the tool provider. While TimeTracker RX has been confirmed to work without problems, If you wish to operate with a supported version, please use a Linux OS server PC.

  • In that case, at least the following two server PCs are required.**
    • Windows Server OS: Application server, database server
    • Linux OS: Redis server
  • We have confirmed that it works with "Red Hat Enterprise Linux" and "Ubuntu" Linux OS.
    • For version and detailed information, please contact TimeTracker support.

Can I use a cloud environment?

Yes, it is possible. Please refer to "Required PC, VM".

What happens to TimeTracker's operation guarantee if the support for the supported OS etc. ends?

We will do our best to allow continued use, but if this is difficult, it will no longer be covered by TimeTracker RX's operation guarantee on the date when the OS or SQL Server vendor ends support. Please note that we may not be able to provide support if you are using an OS or SQL Server for which vendor support has ended.

We recommend planned version upgrades in line with the vendor's support period.
