Items Not Displaying in Timesheet
Overview
This document outlines the points to check when "items are not displayed in the work item tree" on the timesheet screen.
Points to Check
1. Is the member configured to view work items?
The following is required to view work items:
- Assign project access rights (view permission or higher).
- Assign resources to the work item.
Check the following and configure the necessary members if they are not configured:
- Do the target members have the necessary permissions? (Check the system role and project settings screen.)
- Are the target members assigned to the item's resources?
2. Is the work item's item type a type that allows actual time input?
By default, only "Tasks" allow actual time input.
If the end item is a "Package," it will not be displayed in the work item tree on the timesheet.
Please change the item type of the end item to "Task."
3. Check if "Actual Time Input Lock" is enabled
If "Actual Time Input Lock" is enabled for an item, it will not be displayed in the work item tree.
If you need to input actual time, please unlock "Actual Time Input Lock".
4. Check if the displayed items are filtered
The work item tree allows users to filter the items displayed.
Sometimes items may be unintentionally filtered and not displayed.
Please check if the following items are specified:
- Item Type
- Filter
- Keyword
5. Check if the project is hidden
The item tree allows you to hide any project.
Please check if the target project is hidden by following the procedure "Hide Unnecessary Projects".
6. Insufficient Viewing Permissions Due to Work Item Security Features
If access restrictions are placed on the target work item due to the work item's security features,
It cannot be displayed without permission of view or higher.
Check if security permissions are set for the target work item, and
set permissions as needed.
For details, please refer to "Setting Security at the Item Level".
7. Check if multiple users share the same username
If multiple users share the same username, you may have unintentionally set one of the users as a member or resource.
If the above does not resolve the issue, please contact TimeTracker support.
